Gardening 101 Workshop: Binghamton

Are you interested in gardening, have a plot at a VINES community garden, or just want to learn about growing food in a small space?
Come to our free, and learn the basics for planning your garden. We will discuss spacing, design, sun/shade exposure, when and where to plant certain crops, managing pests, caring for your soil, and much more. Participants will take home their own garden plan! Free organic seed packets will be available to attendees.
This will be one of three Gardening 101 workshops in the Spring Green Thumb Workshop Series, and is free and open to gardeners of all levels. A donation of $5-10 is suggested.
This event will be held at the United Presbyterian Church, 42 Chenango St, Binghamton @ 6pm.
