Gardening 101 Workshop: Late Bloomers
April 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Are you interested in gardening, have a plot at a VINES community garden, or just want to learn about growing food in a small space? It’s not too late!
Come to our free workshop and learn the basics for planning your garden. We will discuss spacing, design, sun/shade exposure, when and where to plant certain crops, managing pests, caring for your soil, and much more. Participants will take home their own garden plan! Free organic seed packets will be available to attendees. This is our last Gardening 101 Workshop for the season so don’t miss out!
This workshop is free and open to the public. A suggested donation of $5-10 is greatly appreciated.
This event will be held at the Lee Barta Community Center, 108 Liberty St @ 6pm.
Registration is required as space is limited. Register below or call 607-218-2043
