Herbal Tea Garden Workshop
June 22 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Come learn about some of the tastiest and easiest herbs to grow for tea, including mint, chamomile, lemon balm, and tulsi. Though many of the herbs we use in herbal tea blends have medicinal benefits, the focus of this class will be on growing and making delicious beverages that we enjoy drinking! We will discuss some basic growing tips, how and when to harvest and prepare the herbs, and ideas for how to create a good tasting blend. This workshop will include an opportunity to taste a couple of tea blends.
This workshop is free and open to the public. A $5-10 donation is greatly appreciated.
This event will be held at the Binghamton Urban Farm, 16 Tudor St., Binghamton @ 2:00pm.
Registration is required as space is limited. Register below or call 607-218-2043.
