Preserving 101 Workshop: Tomato Canning

Tomato canning is a staple of home preservation techniques. Everyone loves those ripe, juicy tomatoes right off the vine, and canning them is a great way to enjoy that fresh taste of summer all year long. This workshop will teach you how to properly, and safely, prepare and can your tomatoes so you can incorporate them into recipes all year round.

 

This workshop is free and open to the public.

This event will be held at the Lee Barta Community Center, 108 Liberty St., Binghamton @ 6pm.
