This is an exciting time for VINES!
- We are growing. We are making a broader impact. We are becoming more important to the people we serve.
- We are expanding Grow Binghamton to year-round and to serve more young people.
- We anticipate doubling our Urban Farm sales by 2023.
- As of Fall 2022 we have 22 Community Gardens and we have plans for continued expansion.
In order to meet these goals, we need more space and we need your help.
- Our office, produce coolers, warehouse space, and equipment are spread out across multiple locations.
- We don’t have enough workspace for our staff, for our interns and for our volunteers.
This year VINES has broken ground on a 4,000 square foot office building in downtown Binghamton.
The VINES’ office will be the first Net Zero Energy building in Binghamton and the first commercial building in the North East built using Straw Bale construction.
