Highlights from our past seasons!

“I loved Grow Binghamton because even though I gave up a good amount of my summer, I never ceased to have fun. The people I met are my friends to this day, and I learned things I never would have outside of the program like delicious recipes and gardening/farming techniques. The trips were stellar. I have a good amount of money saved up, and I did a lot growing personally and improved my responsibility. I hope to stay with and help Grow Binghamton grow, just like it helped me.” -2017 Participant

“Throughout my summer in the VINES program, I’ve found that communication was a key tool in developing the strong relationships within our team, while also making our environment open, and enjoyable. On every field trip, our leaders educated us on different types of plants, allowed us to get hands on with composting and harvesting, and were there for us when we had any questions. From strangers on day one, to becoming a strong family unit, through support and encouragement, it’s a program everyone in the community should experience, because one will truly never forget it.” -2017 Participant
