4/27/2024 Weed Identification and Management Pt. 2 with Aleah Butler-Jones of Cornell University

Pigweed, crabgrass, and purslane – Oh My! Would you like to learn how to tell ground ivy and garlic mustard apart and how to manage both? In this workshop series, participants will receive a primer on weed identification and management. They will be taught some of the fundamental biology used in weed science, receive an introduction to plant keys, and learn about weed management resources available. In addition, we will discuss weed control options suited to gardens, raised beds, and urban sites. Finally, live specimens will be used in the class and participants will have the opportunity to practice their newly acquired
weed identification skills.

You do not need to have attended Part 1 to attend this workshop.
