Cooking with Kitchen Staples with Sarah DeFrank (Food Bank of the Southern Tier)

Have some fun with us in the kitchen learning how to build flavorful and nutritious meals with kitchen staples like rice, grains and beans. Director of Advocacy & Education at the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, Sarah DeFrank, will be leading this hands-on cooking workshop. Embedded in the farm to table movement in the San Francisco Bay area, Sarah has worked at several notable restaurants in that area. Knowledgeable in Mexican, Spanish, North African, and Northern Italian cuisines, Sarah is excited to share her passion for making delicious and healthy meals!
This workshop is FREE and open to the public. A suggested donation of $5-$10 is appreciated.
