Kurdish Cooking: Delicious Dolmas and Stuffed Vegetables

In this workshop, Bahar Demirtas will teach about the food, history and culture of the Kurdish people. We will learn how to make stuffed peppers and dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) using fresh ingredients from VINES’ Farm Share program and spices from local small businesses. Cook along with us at the Binghamton Urban Farm while Bahar showcases original artwork and poetry about the Kurdish experience.
This workshop is free and open to the public. A suggested donation of $5-$10 is appreciated.
Note: This workshop will be held in person and is limited to only 15 registrants.
Please provide proof of vaccination (such as a Vaccination Card or Excelsior Pass) if you wish to participate without a mask. Unvaccinated participants are welcome but must please wear a mask.
