Vermicomposting

Vermicomposting is the practice of using red wiggler worms to help break down food. It’s a great way to reduce your food waste while creating a nutrient rich compost to help give your garden a boost. Easy, clean, and odor free, you will definitely want to learn how this amazing process works, and will leave with all the skills and knowledge to get your own worm bin started! In addition to lot’s of new knowledge, everyone who attends will receive their very own worm bin, ready to go! (Limit one (1) per household)

 

This workshop is free and open to the public.

This event will be held at the Broome County Public Library, 185 Court St., Binghamton at 6PM on October 24th.
