The Binghamton Urban Farm (BUF) was created in 2010 and is located in the heart of Binghamton at 16 Tudor Street in a flood-prone area that was formerly a series of four abandoned houses. The season runs for 20 weeks and vegetables are produced using sustainable, organic growing practices (not officially certified organic due to cost). Together with youth employees and volunteers the Urban Farm grows 7,000 pounds of food for donation and sales each year. There are three share sizes offered from BUF.
Binghamton Urban Farm Share Sizes:
- Mini – 3 to 4 different items a week; typically feeds a family of 1-2
- Single – 6 to 8 different items a week; typically feeds a family of 2-3
- Large – 9 to 11 different items a week; typically feeds a family of 4+

Main Street Farms, founded in 2011 by Allan Gandelman and Bob Cat, began as a small aquaponics venture in Homer, NY, with a shared vision of growing healthy, sustainable food while educating their community on the importance of nutrition. What started as a plant nursery and local CSA has since grown into a diverse farming operation with over 60 employees, 60 acres of organic farmland, and expanded offerings including hemp, CBD, and adult-use cannabis products. With deep roots in Cortland County and a commitment to community and sustainability, Main Street Farms continues to innovate while staying true to its mission of nourishing people and the planet.
Main Street Farms Shares Sizes:
- Mini – 4 items per share; typically feeds a family of 1-2
- Small– 6 to 7 different items a week; typically feeds a family of 2-3
- Regular Box- 8 to 9 different items a week; typically feeds a family of 4+
- Bi-weekly Share – Small and Regular size boxes every other week (runs for 10 weeks)

Wander Creek Farm
Wander Creek Farm
Wander Creek Farm is a no-till, human-powered, Certified Organic, mixed vegetable farm in Greene. This means they don’t use tillage which disturbs the soil, they never use pesticides of any kind, and they don’t use heavy fuel-burning tractors in their vegetable fields that compact soil further. Farmers Mary and Jonathan have been farming food together for their CSA members and local markets since 2022. Their CSA season is 20 weeks long and they offer two share sizes.
