Hiring Process – Applicable only after Interviewed
Applicants that are offered a job will be notified in June.
Due to multiple funding sources to provide employment to Binghamton teens the following steps and paperwork are required to complete your hiring paperwork. You can download all the documents needed below, pick up a copy at VINES office or request a packet be mailed home to you. Be sure to fill out all documents in blue or black ink and write legibly.
If you do not have access to create a digital version of your income documentation OR you need things printed, you may coordinate a time to meet with VINES staff for assistance. Please call or text VINES staff at 607-205-8108.
- Complete the VINES Hire Packet/Onboarding Form here
- Complete and Return a copy of VINES’ Health/Emergency Form
- Complete and Return a copy of USCIS I-9 Form
- Provide Copies of Identification Documents
VINES will need copies of your: Social Security Card (AND) a Drivers License, State ID, School ID or Report Card (OR) Passport. All other information that we need photocopies of is included in the hiring packet. - Complete and Return a copy of W4 Form – only IF you did NOT participate in spring Grow Binghamton
- Submit a copy of your working papers if you are under 18
Open Office Hours to Drop off Hiring Packet
Please text contact VINES BEFORE June 30th to find a time to come to the VINES office to make photocopies of documents and hand everything in. This is very important, as you will not be able to start work without providing all documents.
Our office is located at 42 Chenango St in Binghamton, in the basement of the United Presbyterian Church.
If you are requesting a mailed copy of the hiring packet, please do so before June 14th so there is time for it to get to you in the mail.
