As the warm weather winds down and you still want to enjoy the fruits of your labor, VINES invites you to join us in learning how to continue growing delicious vegetables in these cooler months.
This workshop will discuss season extension techniques that can enable gardeners to enjoy homegrown crops year round. Techniques and equipment touched upon will include hoop houses, cold frames, row covers, wall-o-water, succession planting, storage crops, over wintering crops, starting seeds early inside under lights, and heat mats.
This workshop will be on October 15th, Saturday at 2pm in the Greenhouse of the Binghamton Urban Farm on 16 Tudor st. in Binghamton.
