VINES will be hosting the first volunteer workday of the season at the Binghamton Urban Farm this Saturday at 11am. There is lots to do, but priority will be given to the following tasks that will help the urban farm get ready for the start of the growing season.
- Build raised beds inside of greenhouse
- Extend and shape outdoor raised beds
- Spread wood chip mulch where needed
Please bring a water bottle, sun glasses, sunscreen (if you are sensitive to the sun), a lunch if you plan on staying for an extended period of time, and appropriate footwear such as sturdy sneakers, hiking shoes or boots. See you there.
