Sautéed Asparagus & Mushrooms

A quick and savory side dish of sautéed asparagus and mushrooms cooked with garlic until tender. Simple, earthy, and perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper.

Ingredients
  

  • Cooking oil 1 Tbsp
  • Garlic, minced 2 cloves
  • Asparagus, ends removed, cut into smaller pieces 2 bunches
  • Mushrooms 8 oz
  • Salt 1/2 Tsp
  • Black pepper ¼ Tsp

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in garlic and sauté for a minute.
  • Add asparagus and mushrooms and cook, stirring often, until mushrooms release their juices and asparagus is tender for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Serve while still warm.
