Cabbage

A leafy vegetable grown for its dense, round heads. Crisp and mildly sweet when raw, becoming tender and flavorful when cooked. Thrives in cooler seasons. Also called green cabbage.

How to Use

Rinse and slice in quarters, then chop to desired size.
Enjoy raw in a coleslaw type salad, steam, sauté or braise, or pickle for sauerkraut.

Storage Tips

Take your time eating (up to 2 weeks).
Store unwashed in a plastic bag in the fridge with small holes for airflow.
